Service Award Winners For 2003-2004

Service Award : Frank Gonzalez

Facilities Foreman Frank Gonzalez has received the Outstanding Service Award for the year 2003-2004. Frank has won the respect and accolades of his colleagues in the facilities department and across Main Campus for his outstanding customer service skills and leadership. As foreman, Gonzalez supervises nine facilities workers with duties including snow removal, furniture moving, landscaping and event setup. Co-workers describe him as someone who leads by example with a contagious positive attitude.

Frank has been working in the Facilities Maintenance Management Department for the past 7 years. He is really happy to receive this award and wants to thank his crew for their hardwork & constant support. Frank would also like to thank his supervisors for their great support and consistent guidance. "It feels great when your work gets recognized." Congratulations to Frank on this well deserved honor.

Student Employee Award : Chetan Narake

Chetan Narake has received the Outstanding Student Employee Award of the year 2003-2004. With this award he also received the "Clinton E. Stykler Award" for his Leadership & Community Service and National Level award called "Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges" for Academic Excellence, and Extra-curricular activities for the year 2003-2004.

Chetan would like to thank all of the Facilities Staff for their support over the last two years. Chetan credits his supervisors for their guidance and the friendly working environment in the Facilities Department, which always inspired him to give his best.
