Entering A workorder
There are two ways that an individual can enter a work order.

1. After logging in you will be taken to a page displaying a map. Select the building you work in. If you do not know which building is yours you can place your mouse over an image of a building and its name will appear after a few seconds.

2. Next, you will be taken to a current list of all the staff/businesses in the building. Locate your name and click on it, or the arrow to the left of your name. If your name does not appear and if you feel this is an error then please email the Facilities Help Desk or call 312.567.3343

3. Next, you will be taken to a page with a form. All form elements will be filled out with your current information, except for the 'job type', 'job description', 'IDR#', and 'Cost Center' fields. These are left blank for you to fill out. You have an option to change any form element at this time. So, if you are in a location that is not your office you will change it here.

*The IIT facilities department may not have any or all of your current information. If at any point you see an error, feel free to email the Facilities Help Desk or call 312.567.3343

4. The last page in this process is the confirmation page. You will be given a tracking number. You should write it down, so you can follow the progress of the work order on the web. This number will also allow the Facilities Help Desk to find your work order fast and efficiently.
